UW Chapter of Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE-UW) is a student-run club focused on advancing equity in cancer care across the cancer care continuum (prevention through survivorship) in Canada and Ghana. We raise awareness about inequities and barriers to accessing cancer care, such as affordability, navigation, and systemic barriers, through educational talks, panels, workshops, and barrier-awareness campaigns. We also organize student-led fundraising initiatives, with proceeds remitted as donations to Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE), a registered Canadian charity, to support patients with cancer treatment and related costs.
