At Waterloo, Black athletes feel as if the only space they feel comfortable in is either on the hardwood floor or the football/soccer field. So basically Black Athletes are only comfortable in their area of specialty, which is "sports".

This is why we have created BLAC. BLAC will be a club that will allow Black Athletes to do more than just throw a football, run the track, or dribble a ball. BLAC will be a club that allows Black athletes to get comfortable by doing the uncomfortable.

Locally, we organize information sessions, fundraising events, collect hygiene supplies, and recruit brigaders. Then we travel abroad to help run mobile pharmacy/medical/dental clinics in under-resourced communities. Our mission is to empower under-resourced communities as well as the brigaders to resolve global health and economic disparities.
