The purpose of the Islamic Information Center of the University of Waterloo (IICUW) is to promote awareness and understanding of Islam on campus and in the broader community. We are a sister club of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and serve as a hub for knowledge and resources for new Muslims and those interested in learning about Islam.

Our initiatives include weekly informational booths, major open events, and regular Dawah training workshops to help Muslims effectively share their faith. We also organize events for Islamic History Month, Islamic Awareness Week, Ramadan, Eid, World Hijab Day, and other significant occasions to engage with non-Muslims.

Additionally, we support new Muslims/reverts through mentorship, targeted events, and revert packages. We regularly collaborate with the MSA and OSP to foster dialogue and dispel misconceptions about Islam. Our on-campus library provides books, pamphlets, and online resources covering a wide range of Islamic topics for Muslims at various levels of knowledge.
