UW UNICEF aims to support and bring awareness to UNICEF Canada’s initiatives around the world, as well as unite students to work together to educate, raise funds and bring forth everlasting change. United for Literacy - University of Waterloo is considered the “Kitchener/Waterloo Chapter” of United for Literacy (formerly known as Frontier College), a national, non-profit organization that aims to improve literacy across Canada. We work to promote literacy awareness in the Kitchener/Waterloo community and help students get involved in United for Literacy programs as volunteers.

The University of Waterloo Canadian Association on Gerontology Student Connection (UW CAG) is a club whose purpose is to promote interest in aging research. Our goal is to provide opportunities for undergraduate students to explore current aging research, learn more about careers in the field of gerontology, and engage in professional development.
