University of Waterloo Raising the Roof
Last Active TermUniversity of Waterloo’s Raising the Roof club is partnered with the Raising the Roof non-profit organization, whose mission is to provide national leadership on solutions to homelessness. Our objective is to work towards making their vision a reality through fundraising for them. Many exciting events will be planned to do so, and educational events will also take place to enlighten members and students within our community on this national conflict.

WarmWorkers Waterloo
Last Active TermWarmWorkers Waterloo is an initiative that focuses on transitioning homeless people in the Kitchener-Waterloo area from a cycle of dependency to an independent, self-sufficient lifestyle. This is done through events that raise awareness about the homeless population and events that raise funds which contribute directly to helping the homeless community (ie. funds are used to create packages that include hygiene based items such as toothbrushes, and outerwear such as gloves).
