United for Literacy - University of Waterloo is considered the “Kitchener/Waterloo Chapter” of United for Literacy (formerly known as Frontier College), a national, non-profit organization that aims to improve literacy across Canada. We work to promote literacy awareness in the Kitchener/Waterloo community and help students get involved in United for Literacy programs as volunteers.

With the use of game nights, guest speakers, information sessions and newsletters, UFO aims to introduce new students to personal finance.
