Traditional Chinese Ink Wash Painting Club

We provide place, some materials and guidances for students to mindfully practice Chinese painting and Chinese calligraphy in a group. We offer activities including Chinese painting and calligraphy workshops, painting practice sessions, nature walk and paint in the nature. Anyone interested in painting or Chinese culture are welcomed to join!

Turathna (Palestinian Students Association)

UW Mahjong Club

The UW Mahjong Club provides a social environment to learn and play mahjong. The club currently focuses on Hong Kong mahjong but welcomes players of all types and skill levels. Meetings are held once a week during which members can take turns playing mahjong to hone their skills in preparation for friendly tournaments with prizes. The UW Mahjong Club operates entirely on a non-gambling basis and rather focuses on enjoying the game and immersing members in the unique culture of mahjong.

University of Waterloo Backpackers Association (UWBA)

UWBA is an association whereby students from any background who have an interest in backpacking or traveling gather to gain more knowledge on what the world has to offer.
