UW Chinese Instrumental Orchestra
Last Active TermThe UW Chinese Instrumental Orchestra Club welcomes everyone who’s passionate about traditional Chinese music and wish to play classical Chinese instruments as part of the orchestra. The goal of playing and promoting Chinese music is expected to be achieved through bi-weekly rehearsals, bi-weekly sectional tutoring, and performances. Players at all levels are welcomed to join! UW Mahjong Club
Last Active TermThe UW Mahjong Club provides a social environment to learn and play mahjong. The club currently focuses on Hong Kong mahjong but welcomes players of all types and skill levels. Meetings are held once a week during which members can take turns playing mahjong to hone their skills in preparation for friendly tournaments with prizes. The UW Mahjong Club operates entirely on a non-gambling basis and rather focuses on enjoying the game and immersing members in the unique culture of mahjong.
