Creative Writing Club

Who we are

The Creative Writing Club aims to provide a space for members of the University of Waterloo community to practice and share different forms of creative writing. Throughout the term, we will host writing and peer editing sessions, as well as reading nights where members can share works they are proud of. At the end of each term, we will host an awards night where members of the club can celebrate some of the best works written that term.

Creators Collective

Creators Collective is a club that supports students' creativity at the University of Waterloo! We hold an annual gallery and have a printed magazine showcasing all forms of student art as well as a market that provides a single source to find products and services provided by our own students. Creators Collective hosts events throughout the year that target to establish and create a sense of community between creators.

Culture and Language Exchange Club, UW (UWCLEC)

DJ Club, UW

UWDJ is a safe and inviting space to share the love of music on campus, and literally ANYONE is welcome (no fee, no experience required). We are an EDM focused club, but we welcome any genre, and any skill level! Every Wednesday, we meet in DC 1350 from 6pm-11:30pm to teach the basics of DJing, and give an opportunity to budding student DJ talent to play for an audience! Everyone is so welcoming and we truly believe it is one of the best places to find a community and make new friends.

Our purpose is to hone our skills for competitive debate, within the CUSID (Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate) and beyond. We do this through lessons on improving debate and public speaking, attending/hosting intercollegiate debate tournaments, socials and other events.
